The path to sovereignty didn't start with Bitcoin...

Bitcoin changed my life, not because I got rich overnight… but because I got free.

Before this, I ran a successful knee rehab business.


I was helping others recover from injuries, after one ended my own career as a semi-pro rugby player.

Business was good. But deep down, I knew the system was broken.


I started stacking Bitcoin. And I went all in on self-custody from day one, because that was what I was taught from day 1.

Turns out, that wasn’t normal.


The more I spoke with other Bitcoiners, even those from 2017/18 era, the more I realised how few people actually had proper setups.

The $10K Scare That Changed My Setup Forever

I was moving abroad, and transferring funds into a safer setup for travel.

I plugged in my Ledger to do a simple $5 test send…


And watched $10,000 disappear. Gone.

No confirmation. No clue where it went.


Five minutes later it came back, just a glitch. But I’ll never forget that feeling.

That was the day I realised:
USB-connected wallets aren’t enough.


If it had been a real hack, that money was gone.

That one moment made me rethink everything.

I then became obsessed with best practices, advanced custody setups, and inheritance planning.
